Hey guys! This week’s blog post is all about the current fashion statement- black and white stripes. This pattern is on all items of clothing stocked at the moment from shoes to jumpers. Bold black and white stripes have been the unsung hero of our wardrobes for years. The classic design is one of the hardest working pieces in our wardrobe, but rarely gets the recognition it deserves. The remarkable linear pattern and amazing versatility make it a style you won’t want to miss! You can never have too many striped clothing items which can easily be dressed up or down to suit any occasion. Either way, vertical or horizontal, stripes are a fashion staple, so let me just talk you through my favourite products currently on the market

The top is true to size and is great for the colder weather as it can be layered but still look stylish. Petite Stripe Mini Skirt- Topshop

This cute mini skirt has classic stripes and a zip fastening. Fits to size round the wasit but flares out slightly at the bottom due to the seams. Also avaliable in high waisted. On average, the skirt comes up mid-thigh level and is really versatile in terms of ocassion depending on what you dress it with. It allows easy transition and movement as it is slightly elasticated. However, it does look box shaped on some figures so I suggest trying it on

It is quite figure-hugging but is not uncomplimentary. The material is soft and durable, despite the low cost, although is fairly thin. Is suitable for an evening event or a casual top in the hotter seasons

On average, the skirt comes up mid-thigh level and falls loosely over the body (loose fit). It is a casual style which can be worn in a variety of ways making the dress versatile. However, the sizes are quite varied so I do suggest trying it on

These trainer-style shoes have been very popular recently and rightly so. They feature the signiture shell rubber toe box, three stripe side branding and a rubber cupsole. Sold at any good shoe retailer these shoes will definitely stand out and catch the public eye. They have been designed with a breathable mesh lining to ensure feet keep cool. True to size although could be too large after wear so may want to go down half a shoe size. Quality is great as long as you don’t overwear them. Stocked in a variety of colours and styles so definitely check them out!
